CodyWeb was born from a simple belief: the web can do better. Better for users. Better for projects. Better for the planet. Our story is that of two enthusiasts who set out to build an agency in their image: technically rigorous, deeply human, and resolutely responsible.
Like many developers, we began with popular CMSs such as WordPress, Joomla or Magento. Great to get started—yet quickly limiting. Any specific requirement became complex to implement, and performance wasn’t always there.
So we chose a different path. Going back to web fundamentals, we developed our own bespoke approach—more flexible, more lasting, and better aligned with real client needs.
As we trained in organic search, it became clear our method was the right one. A custom, well-structured, fast and lightweight site has every chance of ranking better in search engines.
What we pursued out of technical common sense turned out to be a powerful visibility and performance lever for our clients.
One day we set out to understand a website’s environmental impact. The surprise? We’d already been applying digital sobriety without naming it.
